Most recently he was Director/CEO/President for DataMetrics Corporation, a leading manufacturer of rugged Information Technology (IT) for military and industrial applications. He has a long record of successes as a principal in The Bertram Company, a real estate investment firm based in Orlando Florida. As an equity partner in Conesys, he develop effective marketing, sales, and organizational strategies as well as orchestrated M&A activity. He has served as Vice President for Sales and Customer Support for the company that is now known as Siemens Building Technologies. Prior to that, he served as Regional Distribution Manager for Telemecanique/Square D, a U.S. subsidiary of Schneider Electric, France, and he was also Northeast Regional Marketing Manager for Leroy-Somer, Inc. (now a division of Emerson Electric).
Bertram is a deal-maker. He has created a reputation for himself as a turnaround artist. One who can take a fledgling, struggling, or debt-ridden company and successfully guide it to health. He has raised many millions of dollars in investment capital from private equity partners, he is proficient at SEC rules and regulations, and has significant experience with Mergers and Acquisitions.
Bertram is educated. He holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University. He holds many other accreditations and certificates for everything from Dale Carnegie to Sandler Sales Institute.
